Much to my dismay, the rose gold and pebbled leather combination I wanted (and faithfully held classic status in Alexander Wang’s collection) was sold out and impossible to find. I searched for a long time before I found eBay and bought it and it has become one of my favorite bags.

I recently got another (!!) Marion at the Alexander Wang sample sale at 151 Wooster Street in Soho. This little cutie is black with suede and silver hardware. At $225, I couldn’t pass it up.

Another great eBay find is the Prisma Tote. I’ve wanted one for ages, but didn’t want to pay that much – I lucked out and found a new one on eBay for $400. The tote is cute and cool – definitely one of my favorite bags! I also like the updated version which has slightly different corners.

Alexander Wang’s sample sale also includes pebbled and soft leather iPad cases. I chose to get a pebble – they are $75 each!

So, I think it’s only fair to warn you all that the next post will probably be more Alexander Wang….just shoes this time. I could justify myself to another Marion by arguing that I had just bought two beautiful Wang boots, Gabby and Cory, with silver hardware:

To be honest, it’s better to keep the bag in silver because I love Marion, but rose gold can sometimes clash with outfits.
