Jw Marriott Surfers Paradise Review
The general feeling you get when entering this hotel is localized. It has the feel of a Gold Coast hinterland and rainforest, using floating elements and canopies to simulate a natural entrance. It features stone artwork and a wooden screen with plenty of greenery.
The hotel welcomes you with a cool, refreshing lavender drink with friendly staff, two famous teddy bears and a fun play. From there, service continues to shine throughout your stay, from room service and staff to food and beverage service.
As you stroll through the hotel grounds, you will discover that there is more to this hotel than meets the eye. First of all, the swimming pool. From the surface it looks like a nice resort pool, but dive down and you’ll discover a magical world of corals and fish. A huge sandy lagoon filled with tropical fish, waterfalls and a separate freshwater pool (no fish here), complete with a hot tub. The cave connects the pool to the Grotto Spa, waterslides, cabanas and even special quartz sand designed to stick to you, not you. Needless to say, this is a very unique pool.
For those who don’t want to get wet, there are cabanas around the pool where you can relax after the day with a cocktail or snack on the lookout. Book a special package for cabanas and make your day with all-inclusive drinks and food.

It’s our 5th anniversary and P always said he wanted to try teppanyaki so I decided to take him to Benihana, which is reputed to be the best place for teppanyaki on the Gold Coast. It was April 24th and it was Easter Sunday, so I wasn’t sure if we would charge extra, let alone use our entertainment card, but there was no extra charge and we were lucky =)
I reserved a table at 6pm, and whenever I go with my family, they take me right away.
