The building meets high sustainability requirements and is designed to provide a healthy working environment for its 800 employees. Plants are added to the interior as an important asset to improve life. A spectacular vertical green wall in the central atrium is an eye-catcher. The 20 meter high wall is the green lung of the Danone office and connects all floors of the building.
With minor adjustments, the structural wall was reinforced to support the weight of Wonderwall’s green wall system. This plant wall system consists of a recycled foam backing equipped with different layers of felt fabrics and a highly stretchable fabric cover with plant pockets. Plant pockets are planted with a selection of ornamental plants that require little maintenance. The plant wall is equipped with a fully automatic irrigation system that is regulated by a network of intelligent moisture sensors.

The building’s atrium has a glass facade and roof. This allows a large amount of natural daylight to enter the building. Thanks to this daylight, there was no need to install additional grow lighting. Very unusual for a plant wall of this proportion.
With a vertical green wall, we have created a green work of art that requires little maintenance. By visiting several times a year, we maintain the wall and contribute to a healthy working environment for Danone employees and visitors. The goal of the game: to capture the essence of brands and break down inherent silos in different companies.
Danone Nutricia sought to renovate its Macquarie Park bar floor and engaged PMG to create an inspiring, brand-driven and energizing space.
The company sought a new reception area, boardroom, multi-function room and break-out area, updated meeting rooms and a reconfigured open-plan workspace. The carpet needs to be completely replaced and all the walls need to be painted.

The team wanted to stay on site throughout the construction. Thus, a program was put in place to allow employees to move floorboards with minimal disruption.
Due to changes in senior management and changes in global brand directives, this project took 12 months. Despite the extended timeline, PMG was able to work with Danone to achieve the desired look and feel, creating a seamless aesthetic between old and new.
The departmental space has been redesigned to accommodate town hall meetings and company-wide celebrations such as Danone Day, improving employee interaction and unity.
Bold use of color, dynamic graphics, green and natural wood finishes enliven the space and surround employees and visitors with the essence of the Danone brand. Adopting a static design (employees are assigned desks by role rather than business unit) helps break down walls between different business units.
