Today I have a BB cream review for you. I have reviews of BB creams, foundations, CC creams, but it will take a while. Shortening my list, I have Dr. Jart+ Silver Label Renewing BB Cream. This is my favorite BB cream these days.

Rating: Silver Brand is one of the “drier” BB creams I’ve used. The consistency is pretty thick and doesn’t break anywhere. I only need a small amount of beans for my entire face. It took some work to spread the product over my face because it was so thick. I think a brush or sponge would help a lot. It feels light on the skin despite the thick consistency.

Shade Selection: Like most Asian BB creams, shade “selection” is non-existent. There is only one shade: a very light beige with a strong gray undertone. At first it looks gray and white, but I find that after a few minutes it “sets” and softens a little to suit my skin. The color will be suitable for NC 15/20/25 – people with darker skin are out of luck.
Packaging: The older version of this BB cream comes in a black squeeze bottle containing 50ml of product. The new “Silver label” has a very simple pump with a hard plastic cap and 40 ml. I find the new packaging very beautiful and elegant, as well as simple. The price seems to be the same between the old and the new, so I think the lower ml means the price has gone up.
Coverage: Despite being light, this BB cream has a good weight/weight ratio. It evened out my skin tone (after that previous gray color) and covered the redness and small blemishes. Dark circles and more stubborn blemishes need a concealer, but overall I love how smooth and healthy my skin feels.

Review] Dr. Jart+ Bb Creams
The Dr Jart+ brand has recently been introduced to the UK market and has a range of 4 different BB creams that promise to help with skin types 4 different sizes. You can pick up their products at Boots.
Premium BB cream is aimed at the more mature market, with special mineral ingredients such as soybean oil that gives a bright, healthy glow after use. It promises to reduce blemishes, lift skin and eliminate the dreaded signs of aging. It has the highest SPF of the BB range which is SPF 40 and it’s a great feature (get it?) It’s packaged in a hard plastic tube with an extra pump so there’s no waste! The cream itself comes in 1 shade to suit everyone and has a thick, gel consistency which I find absorbs better into the skin.
I applied all over my face using my Real Techniques Exfoliating Brush, 1 full pump in total. Once applied, the product absorbed naturally into my skin and blended well with my skin, which is surprising because the product is gray before blending, but after a few seconds it blends wonderfully into the skin. It gave me a healthy, radiant glow and a flawless complexion (even hiding blemishes). The thick formula feels very light in one application and can be built up to a more flawless finish than foundation can achieve.
I don’t recommend the Premium Cream if you have oily skin because the gel formula can be too heavy on the skin while I have a little bit of coverage. my nose but nothing a light matte skin can’t fix! If you have oily skin, try Dr Jart+ Water Fuse BB Cream, which gives a matte finish.
