Sound design for the Australian production was our very own Kelvin Geddy. While the sound system itself is unique and highly functional, design elements such as It’s MEYERUPJ-1P vocal and CQ-1 left-right surround systems are primarily paired with discrete mice combined with Sennheiser’s orchestral microphones. In fact, it is completely acoustic in nature. reinforced. During the mixed Melbourne season, the orchestra mixes with the system’s popular Shops CMC microphones. The cast was mixed with a Sennheiser MKE-2, and by very special personal request, Chaim Topol tucked his microphone into the third button under his shirt. This was so that he could control his level by speaking low when he wanted to raise the volume. Of course, as a warning to all actors considering this option, it’s a really terrible idea, and his mic had to be clamped to track wild level fluctuations! However, I understand the theory!
(If the audience wasn’t laughing enough at his jokes, he’d look more into the mic – it would make for a great video…..!)
The company develops the Timax system currently used in Harry Potter and several other major shows, where it uses radio location technology to provide time delays for each actor and musician. Topol was very specific in her requests for folding, so the entire show was adapted to her needs.
The design team was the aforementioned Kelvin Gedi, with his associate designer and a team led by David Gresley, led by PSE, Nick Reiche and Gillian Davison, and Claudia Anderson handling the usual radio and stage needs.

Fiedler will play in Sydney on September 20, 2005. It then opened at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC on 1 April 2006 and finally at Her Majesty’s Theater in Melbourne on 10 June of the same year.

The cast definitely makes the most of the limited parts in the star-studded car show. Judith Roberts is excellent as Gold, the protector, and Maggie Kirkpatrick is fantastic as the indomitable Yante.
The three daughters are well acted: Louise Kelly is excellent as Zettel, Octavia Barron-Martin is passionate and Emily Greene is Chava. The men as their besties are excellent: Amos Sipes as Motel, David Harris as Perchik and Sean Rennie as Fedka.
Tower Theater Performs Lively Broadway Classic
One of the best scenes is The Dream, in which Emma Powell wakes up at an interesting moment and cooks up a storm. If only the show had an impressive spark. Anyway, Topol is worth a look.

His performance as Tevye is outstanding thanks to his excellent acting and singing. It represents all of Tevye’s emotions – from love and anger to humor and confusion. His renditions of Fiddler’s famous songs are equally enjoyable.

Set in a small Jewish village in Tsarist Russia in 1905, Fiddler on the Roof tells the story of poor milkman Tevye and his efforts to preserve his family’s traditions in a changing world.
Tevye and his wife Goldie (Sigrid Thorton) have five daughters, three of whom are of marriageable age. Traditionally, a matchmaker must find a suitable match for marriage, but Twee’s daughters have minds of their own and want to marry for love.
One of Tevye’s daughters, Zeitel (Teigan Wouters), wants to marry poor tailor Motel (Lever) instead of the middle-aged butcher (Mark Mitchell) chosen by her father. Another daughter, Hodel (Monica Swain), is in love with radical student Perchak (Blake Bowden), while Chava (Jessica Vickers) is in love with Fedka (Jensen Overand), a local Russian boy.
In addition to dealing with “domestic issues,” Tevye and his colleagues in the Jewish community face great distrust when the government evicts Jews from the surrounding villages.
The last scene of the show – when Tevye and the others leave the village – is very moving and memorable.
Although the show’s undercurrent is dramatic and serious, there are funny scenes that show the strength and spirit of the characters and Yiddish humor. Nikki Wendt delivers great lines as the matchmaker Yante, and some of the televised discussions with Goldie and God are hilarious.
