Great Ocean Road Weddings

Great Ocean Road Weddings – Boyfriends Steph and Nick had been together for 5 years when they decided to tie the knot. Inspired by the beachy vibes of their Aireys Inlet vacation home, the couple chose the comfort of a favorite local restaurant for their wedding day celebration. Aside from the bride’s gold dress, the flowers definitely stole the day for this couple. Seriously, guys, you’re going to want to check out this arboreal figure, courtesy of Babiana Botanic. The talented lady Cass of Blossom Daisy Creative was there to capture all the great angles. Scroll down for more fun photos…

DETAILS SHE LOVES “We love the result of the invitations. Ying’s photography is amazing and our friend, a graphic designer, made an interesting and beautiful invitation. I know many of our friends love it as much as we do because when we visited months after the wedding it was still in their fridge! We also love Maddie Sharrock’s vases. He is a friend of our friend and we are lucky because we have an abundance of vases that he is willing to sell to us. The marbling effect of the colored concrete in his work reminded us of the cliffs at Aireys, and as such it was the perfect addition to our wedding tables. Our florist [Babiana Botanic] kept the flowers textured and textured, which really helped show the beauty of the vases. It was also great to be able to give vases as gifts after the wedding to our bridal party and friends and family who helped and supported us before the wedding.

REFERENCES “We do a lot of wedding planning on the internet, during our lunch break. Hi This is a great resource because it lists many vendors. We have linens, dishwashers, celebrants and hairdressers at Hello May.”

MY FAVORITE MOMENT “Getting ready for my party is a highlight for me. We all stayed the night before the wedding. Since it was a very cold day, we started a fire and relaxed listening to records and sitting by the fire while taking turns doing makeup and hair. When we were ready we had a little time to share a bottle of champagne with my mother which was wonderful. “

WORD OF ADVICE “We originally planned to have our ceremony in the forest, when we saw that the weather looked bad with rain and hail we predicted that we decided, in advance, to change the venue to A La Greque. It was a hard decision to make, but we’re so glad we did it the day before, so we could plan things and not worry about it that day. We wish we’d thought more about our plan B throughout the process of planning.

DEDICATED VENDORS “All of our vendors put in an amazing effort but three really stand out. First is Statos and Hannah at A La Greque. We always love the restaurant for the great food and great atmosphere and they did not disappoint. night. Another standout vendor was our wedding photographer Cass [Blossom Daisy Creative], she was so happy. It was recommended by our photographer friend Ying and lived up to its reputation perfectly. She was also incredibly professional and helped create everything went smoothly on the day. We love the selfies of all our guests on a fun night. She captured the warmth and joy of the night perfectly. I also have to mention our florist Anna from Babiana Botanic . I told Anna that I didn’t want too many “pretty” flowers and wanted to give a nod to the Australian bush without overwhelming the natives. That g created the perfect balance.”

Endless skies, shimmering waters that stretch the coast, sandy beaches, and sunshine that warms you from head to toe… Sounds like a dream, yes? Well, that’s how Louise and Cam’s wedding was at Fairhaven Beach on the stunning Great Ocean Road. Apparently, it was a beautiful, photo-worthy day:

Louise wore a beautiful wedding dress that fit so easily against the cream-colored sand and blue sky, and we love that Cam wore a suit with a navy blazer? Flowing linen and bottom complimented her dress.

And I know what you’re thinking… what kind of shoes do you wear to a beach wedding? Definitely not heels… The answer is No! They walk barefoot!

“Getting married on the beach and the Great Ocean Road is my dream!” The bride told us why they chose this place for their wedding.

My only question now… when can we go back?! But seriously, congrats Louise & Cam! May your future be filled with beaches and glorious days like these!

When I first contacted Louise and Ross about their wedding, I was so excited – they were planning a spectacular wedding on the Great Ocean Road with a beautifully decorated ceremony on the beach. Louise and Ross are such lovely people and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding!

I started in a luxurious beach house, where the wedding party was being prepared, and it was very fun, because all the girls were there. Louise wore a classic white dress and Ross a navy suit and they looked amazing.

The wedding was on the shores of the Great Ocean Road, and it was a romantic affair. They have their fur baby – a Bernese Mountain Dog and there, which is very important to them. After the ceremony there was a lot of fun for everyone, then we went to take beautiful pictures on the amazing beach.

The wedding reception took place at the Fairhaven Life Saving Club, which was filled with fairy lights outside. It’s really amazing.

The Great Ocean Road Wedding

It was a beautiful day, just what the couple had hoped for. While guests enjoyed the free bar, we wandered around the area taking some fun and interesting photos. My favorite photo from the photos is the couple dancing under the fairy lights. Check it out below!

During the party they had a photobooth, which everyone loved. For food they have a buffet, and it is very tasty. After that, the group started the party and the singer kept everyone happy throughout the night. They also have sparklers, which is the perfect way to end the night.

A sunny day at the beach can be very hot, so prepare umbrellas to block the sun. And prepare beach thongs for guests to wear.

Here are some amazing beach weddings for inspiration! If you are getting married and looking for a wedding photographer, get in touch. Starting in Geelong and running all the way down the coast to Warrnambool, the Great Ocean Road is full of amazing places to host your wedding. Whether it is an intimate lopement or a more extravagant production there is room for everything.
