With a beautiful coastline in the city of Bichen to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the east, it’s easy to see how the locals came up with the name.
Our luxury north facing coastal home is surrounded by beauty and immersed in nature. It is the jewel in the crown of Tasmania’s east coast. It offers a choice of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a very well fitted kitchen with butler’s pantry. The large living room has a cathedral-style vaulted ceiling with a large fireplace, multiple rooms, a dining table that seats 12 and a 65-inch LCD TV. Upstairs, the tower offers flexible living space with games, toys, DVDs, sound system and 55” LCD TV.

Harveys Farm Bicheno is set in 5 acres of bushland with the house close to the sea and surrounded by grassy expanses. You can enjoy direct and filtered ocean views around the entire property. At the northeast point of the property, you can walk directly from the grass to the granite cliffs that drop down to the ocean.
Apsley Gorge Vineyard
There is an abundance of nature that lives and regularly visits the property. During the day you can see and hear black cockatoos, kookaburras, great wrens and many native birds in the area. If you look a little higher, you can see sea eagles and ospreys flying over the coast. During the day in the warm season, you can see our resident blue tongue lizard.
In the late afternoon and evening there are regular visits from the local wallabies who like to dine on the lawns and if you are patient and look closely you will occasionally see the odd wombat wandering around.
During whaling season, humpback whales approach the eastern side of the area. We also had events where the seals left their permanent home and came to the rocky island near the town to sunbathe on the opposite rock!
