The shelves are pretty shallow (meaning tall books are best to sit on top of the shelf), but I’ve tried it on all the other bookshelves – it might be a safe/tall thing.

We are happy with the result. Get together easily. Our only issue was that the first table that was delivered broke into several pieces. They were upset with the new desk. The delivery issue was the only thing holding the order back. But thanks to the new, all is well.
