Placements can vary in duration from short-term placements up to 400 hours and tend to be project-based, with goals and results identified prior to starting the placement.
There is also research on undergraduate and/or graduate students (interviews with faculty and administrators can help identify potential areas of study).

Students can also benefit from hands-on experience with the experienced team at the ‘Gym’ in Maroochydore. This should be part of the student placement. The gym is a wheelchair that can be used for exercise and rehabilitation. Enhanced Living offers a unique experience for students studying Allied Health degree or AQF 7 equivalent who are interested in supporting people of all abilities to achieve their health and nutrition goals healthy.
Clients include people with spinal cord injuries, neurological diseases, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, visual impairments, chronic pain and amputees.
In addition to health services and services, Enhanced Living’s strength is Neurological Rehabilitation and we provide intensive one-on-one services designed to promote functional well-being and independence in people with neurological/musculoskeletal disorders, e.g. Spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and cerebral palsy.
