We love all of Australia and New Zealand and TASMANIA IS THE “TAKE YOURSELF” TOUR. to MT. Museum. Some people say they don’t like it much more than others.
Wellington was great! We were lucky to have a good day to visit and were there before all the big buses arrived! MONA was a big disappointment for us – the art was just weird. It might just be us, but I’d skip that part – the boat ride was good there. Disability accommodation highly rated!
Day Tours From Hobart Tasmania Australia
MT. WELLINGTON was beautiful as it was a sunny day and we could see for miles around Hobart. I was very disappointed in Mona. The screens were so different that you couldn’t understand their purpose, some were so rude and shocking!
We enjoyed our morning excursion to Mount Wellington and a small group car tour of the city. Then, having traveled independently on this segment, we were able to adjust the duration of the afternoon tour to MONA to our needs. I also rated the handicap accessibility accommodations at MONA very highly. Otherwise I can climb those stairs!
Smaller cruises typically range from 2 to 20 people and provide a more personal experience than the larger cruises offered by cruise lines.
Typical beach tours usually consist of 20-50 people. These cruises are similar to cruise lines. Although today’s tours are bigger, our focus on quality remains very high.
Cruising: Shore Excursions
Private shore excursions allow you to travel only with a party. For groups of 4 or more, we can usually arrange a private shore excursion for less than the price of a large cruise.
Light/minimum physical activity: Just light walking and no major climbing. You may have to negotiate several steps.
Moderate physical activity: Fair walking is required, climbing a full flight of stairs or negotiating uneven terrain may be required.
Difficult/significant physical activity: A lot of walking or climbing is required, often on unpaved and uneven terrain. If you book one of these tours, you need to be in good shape.
