Skinb5 Acne Control Tablets – A few months ago, Michelle from SkinB5 contacted me to ask if I wanted to try their acne line. As someone who has always suffered from skin problems, I jumped at this opportunity. For the past year alone, I’ve been dealing with a severe, persistent breakout on my face and I’m pretty sure part of my neck has cystic acne! Not fun if you’re like me, after a while it starts to destroy your spirit. I used Paula’s Choice Extra Strength Clear Kit for this problem, but wanted to see a comparison of the SkinB5 products. Also, SkinB5 seems to bring something new: treat the skin from the inside.

Skinb5 Acne Control Tablets

Skinb5 Acne Control Cleansing Mousse 150ml, Exp: May 23 [made In Australia]
This is probably my least favorite product, not because it’s bad (it’s not), but because I’m so used to using gel or cream cleansers that it’s weird to use a foaming cleanser. One pump dispensed enough product to clean my entire face, proving great value for money. Since it’s a foaming cleanser, it’s more generous on the face than a gel, so my main concern is that it won’t get in my eyes (which thankfully it didn’t). Once I got used to the different textures, cleansing with SkinB5 Acne Control Cleansing Mousse was a piece of cake. Claims that the product removes dead skin and excess fat, opens blockages and tightens pores. I find it to be a gentle satisfying cleanser and leaves my skin softer and more balanced.
SkinB5 Skin Purifying Mask is a quick and unique selection of core ingredients including French green clay, marine minerals from the Australian barrier reef, bergamot oil, avocado oil, aloe vera and a hint of cooling mint combined with vitamin B5 to cleanse, purify and soothe acne-prone skin. Active ingredients work together to absorb and extract oils, toxins and impurities deep within the layers of the skin to help your skin heal and regenerate.
I really enjoy using this green mask. Because it dries quickly, it means I can wet my face, pat it on, and go detangle my hair in the shower, and when I do, it’s ready to wash off! I do like pampering sessions, but if I have to wait half an hour for the mask to work, I feel like I’m wasting my time. The consistency of the mask itself is quite thin and it is easy to apply. I use it weekly but I’m thinking of bumping it up to bi-weekly as I think it works great on my skin. It seems to do a great job of removing impurities and improving my skin to look healthier overall. For someone with acne prone skin, this is a great product and I will continue to use it.

Skinb5 Acne Control Skin Care Treatment, Extra Strength Acne Control 120 Tablets
This is another product that I had to get used to, but once I got used to it I loved it. This moisturizer has an extremely thin consistency and is lightweight. When I first took out an equal pump I thought there was no way a small amount would harm my entire face, but I was pleasantly surprised. One spray’s worth is easily applied all over my face and absorbed quickly. I really like this moisturizer and the effect it gives me. I found out:
~ The skin tone is really even. I hardly ever need to use concealer, and I’m more confident that my skin will look makeup-free.
~ Smaller pores. My pores are less visible because this moisturizer seems to “tighten” my skin (no, it doesn’t feel tight).
~ More balanced skin. My skin is less oily and my makeup stays on better and lasts longer. Requires fewer touch-ups with powder throughout the day!

Now at first, I’m like ‘I’m not eating these! The whole thing about SkinB5 is that it works as a system when I look at the sizes of these moms (especially tablets). Acne Be Gone With Skinb5 Skincare Range
Caplets treat mild acne and are designed to maintain healthy skin, while tablets are more core and promise to control severe acne breakouts. Now you can mash them up and add them to smoothies, but frankly, I can’t get enough of them. Once I got used to adding caplets to my daily meds, it was easy and I basically didn’t think twice. After I was done with all the capsules, I started using the tablet, which was actually a good time since I got a pimple on my chin.
During my use of the SkinB5 range, my skin has been the clearest it has been in a long time. I have noticed a more balanced complexion as I am definitely not as oily as I used to be. My complexion is very even and overall and my skin looks very healthy and clear. I use a lot less concealer and can use a BB cream instead of a medium coverage foundation because my skin doesn’t need to be “covered” at all. In retrospect I will probably go back to the cleansing mousse (I still use the moisturizer and the mask) because I really like the way my skin looks. It has gotten more congested since I started mixing several different products together and I miss my clear, even, healthy skin! I recommend these products to anyone who has skin problems, persistent breakouts, or severe stubborn acne.
