Urban Frame Hotel
We recently spent three nights at the St. George Lycabettus Hotel, and quite frankly the stunning views were the reason we chose this hotel, apart from anything else. The reception desk is discreet and welcoming as soon as you enter the building and we are greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff on arrival. Checked in 5 minutes early to get our room key card and headed up to the 5th floor excited about what our room had to offer.
Hotel rooms and suites have different design themes and styles. Ours was newly renovated, spacious and airy, designed to evoke a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. We felt very happy and comfortable in this room, we loved the combination of colors and the light yellow decorative elements. However, the cherry on top was the beautiful view!
A good night’s sleep is important when staying in a hotel, and the king size bed we had was very comfortable. And, when it comes to organic bedding, the comfortable King Coco-Mat bed falls short.
Desk, coffee/tea making facilities, fully stocked minibar, LCD TV, safe and free wireless internet and a generally faultless room, evening turn down service was impeccable.

Room service was efficient and quick to respond to any requests. Twice we enjoyed afternoon room service with home-made pastries and cakes with an evening cup of coffee before dinner.
As a family-run hotel, every member of staff and team values their guests and it shows. We have come here time and time again and have always encountered loyal and well-trained staff who offer a high level of service.
Upon entering our room, we noticed a plate covered with seasonal fruits waiting for us along with a bottle of mineral water on the trendy glass table. Thank you St George Lycabettus Hotel! Complimentary mineral water and juice are available to each guest in the lobby on the ground floor.
Every morning we had the most beautiful visitor on the balcony. A collared pigeon that I liked to feed with crumbs.

I would be happy if there was a little more light in the bathroom. Average size, a bath that includes a standing power shower. The towels in the bathroom were fresh and bright and changed every day. There was a magnifying glass and scales, toiletries, “Olive Care” was a Greek brand.
Although I left the premises to walk around Kolonaki for a few hours on the first morning, I felt like I had a lovely stay inside with everything I needed and more. Next to their spa is a gym, yoga and pilates studio where I can keep myself busy and happy. In the end, I decided not to leave the hotel grounds after the first trip. Instead, I indulged in their Agio Spa for hours on end for the next two days!
La Suite Lounge serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and is very convenient. What a lovely way to start the day with breakfast from the La Suite rooftop lounge!
The location of the restaurant offers many possibilities to make your morning beautiful! After you get your food and order a Greek coffee, you can sit back and enjoy this beautiful and breathtaking view.

Breakfast here is an experience! If you are lucky enough to have breakfast or dinner on the terrace of Le Grand Balcon Hotel, you can enjoy a great view of the city of Acropolis on one side, the green hill of Lycabettus on the other, and the city of Athens. . to the Saronic Islands. Of course, after the sun goes down, everything turns magical!
The buffet is varied and will satisfy even the most demanding guests. I was there all three mornings and the weather was unusual in allowing guests to sit outside.
An omelet with my choice of ingredients, some Greek bread and fruit were my favorite breakfast items every morning. The staff will welcome you!
Hotel guests can find eggs, meat, Greek cheese, yogurt, Greek bread, delicious cakes and fresh seasonal fruits. Don’t miss out on tasting some of the traditional Greek pastries you’ll find at the nearby rotunda table!

Perched at an altitude of around 300 meters, the area is popular with locals and visitors alike for spectacular views and tranquility amidst the vast Athenian countryside. Intrepid travelers can climb the mountain on foot. The cable car is an easy alternative and is easily accessible from the hotel.
